CPI 2006
Transparency International launched its 2006 Corruption Perception Index. This year the rank of Bulgaria is 4.0 and the country is on 57th position.
In 2006, the TI Corruption Perception Index investigates the level of corruption in 163 countries. Finland, Island and New Zealand occupy the first position in the ranking with score of 9.6 out of 10. Among the countries with the lowest levels of corruption are also Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Norway and Austria.
