Inter-institutional Cooperation Survey
The principal objective of the survey is to assess the level of inter-agency cooperation in the fight against corruption. The object of the research includes all specialised units and institutions engaged in implementing policies and measures aimed at reducing corruption crimes within the judicial, the legislative and the executive power. The principal objectives of the research are as follows:
• Study of institutional framework, information network and intensity of communication within the anti-corruption environment in which the prosecution functions;
• Assessment of administrative capacity of the existing institutional environment, existing hitherto practices of interaction and coordination, as well as the readiness for development and application of effective partnership models;
• Determination of scope and assessment of risks related to the effective membership of Bulgaria in the European Union and particularly the level of readiness to form a potential for counteraction against corruption crimes, related to the implementation of the EU structure and cohesion funds;
• Formulation of motions for streamlining existing practices of inter-agency partnership.
